J. West Electric is leaving its mark in the St. Louis area and beyond. The company has grown from a small residential company to an emerging sub-contractor working on projects that are making history in our community. J. West has been a part of the come back of Union Station; working on new conference rooms, an updated fitness center, the build out of new luxurious hotel suites and the beautiful landscape of the South Park. J. West worked on the safety infrastructure in the city’s convention center, America’s Center. The project included various data runs, door controls, lighting upgrades and much more. At Lambert St. Louis Airport, J. West continues to work on various projects including HVAC system upgrades, tenant remodels and new space build-outs. Check out the January edition of the IBEW’s national newletter to see an article about J. West’ and many other contractors involvement in the St. Ferdinand Homes project. This is just a small peice of the work that will continue in North St. Louis as developers revitalize this all but forgotten neighborhood in St. Louis City. Besides the variety of projects that J. West has been a part of, the company also embraces a culture of diversity and inclusion in it’s work force. As the crew grows and changes, the management continues to encourage personal development and growth with an internal motto to “always get better”. Employees are encouraged to take ownership of every project and every task.
